Research Methods: Conducting Empirical Research on Ethics

Series of workshops on ‘Research Methods Training Workshops on how to Conduct Empirical Research on Ethics’, conducted by the Institute of Research and Development. The series consisted of 05 workshops held from December 2009 to March 2010. The workshops was organized in collaboration with the School of Social Science and Public Policy of King’s College London and the Institute of Psychiatry of King’s College London.

The event was funded by The Wellcome Trust.

Promotion of bioethics among school children by working with the National Institute of Education.

Aims

The aims were:

  • Knowledge and skill development.
  • Enhance core-group capacity on theoretical aspects of ethics, research methodologies, analyses, publication and other relevant components.
  • Special emphasis was placed on research methodology relevant to research in ethics.

Resource Persons

Expert academics from around the globe participated in these workshops as resource persons.
