Ravina Perera

Ravina Perera is a lecturer at Horizon Campus, Sri Lanka and a former teaching assistant at
University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. She earned her BSc. (Hons) in Zoology from the University of
Kelaniya and her MSc. in Cellular and Molecular Immunology from the University of Colombo.
Her academic interests lie in exploring how genetic and environmental factors influence immune
function and health outcomes. Ravina is skilled in immunological techniques, animal cell culture
and molecular biology, with hand-on experience in experimental research and data analysis. With
a strong foundation in immunology and teaching experience in higher education, she aims to
pursue a PhD to advance her expertise in immunogenetics. She hopes to contribute to developing
integrative research approaches that improve the understanding and prevention of immune-related
diseases.
