Dr. Fathima Razna Ramzi is an academic and researcher specializing in Cellular and Molecular Immunology. She holds a Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS) from the University of Colombo and is currently completing her MSc in Cellular and Molecular Immunology. She serves as a Temporary Demonstrator in Immunology at the Faculty of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo.
Her research focuses on immunomodulation, tumour immunology, and environmental immunotoxicology, with particular interest in microplastic-induced immune alterations. She also explores the integration of Unani medicine and molecular immunology to promote evidence-based traditional health sciences.
Dr. Razna aims to pursue a PhD and advance her career as a lecturer and independent researcher. She is also committed to promoting vaccine literacy and environmental health awareness in Sri Lanka through science communication and community engagement.
