Prof. Kumaran from the University of Jaffna, Prof. Athula Sumathipala, Prof. Gominda Ponnapperuma, Prof. Krish from King’s College Landon and IRD Staff had a CEI planning meeting yesterday (4th March 2026) to discuss the launch of the Centre of Excellence at Eastern University on 11th March. A key highlight of the event will be bringing together leaders from all NIHR-funded projects in Sri Lanka—ENHANCE, TRANSLATE, ECLIPS, NAMASTHE, and DIGIPATH—to showcase their CEI components.
