MOU signed between the Institute for Research and Development in Health and Social Care (IRD) and Edith Cowan University – Sri Lanka

An MOU was signed between Institute for Research and Development in Health and Social Care (IRD) and Edith Cowan University, signed by Professor Athula Sumathipala, Honorary Director, IRD and David Matthews, General Manager, ECU. The MoU is a pioneering partnership between IRD and ECU Sri Lanka, forming a strategic partnership between two institutes to further biomedical science in Sri Lanka.
Professor Sumathipala and the IRD team (Kavish Sirisena, Kawmini Wickramanayake and Bhanuka sisira kumara) visted ECU and was shown around the new laboratories, as well as discussed important research projects in Sri Lanka.
