Today, Prof. Athula Sumathipala delivered a keynote speech on “Epidemiology of conflict, migration and mental health in Sri Lanka” at the 16th Congress of the International Federation of Psychiatric Epidemiology, held in Melbourne, Australia. The theme of this year’s congress is “Priorities in Global Mental Health: Taking Psychiatric Epidemiology to Scale”.
A team of world renowned Psychiatric professionals of Australia organizes this congress and the sessions will be held from 17th to 20th October 2017, at Melbourne Cricket ground, Melbourne, Australia.
The IFPE Congress brings together the diverse disciplines and geographies that contribute to global population mental health research.
